TOS Network
TOS Network (TOS) is a fast, secure, scalable blockchain focused on handling millions of transactions per second (TPS) with the goal of reaching hundreds of millions of blockchain users moving forward.
TOS is designed as a distributed supercomputer, or a “superserver”, intended to provide a variety of products and services to contribute to the development of the decentralized vision for the new internet. Blockchain compare:
TOS, Solana, and Ethereum 2.0 are examples of Proof of Stake blockchains. But key design and implementation differences mean TOS comes out ahead on performance, versatility, and design.
TOS | Ethereum 2.0 | Solana | |
---|---|---|---|
Block time | 5 sec. | 12 sec. | 1 sec. |
Time-to-finality | Under 6 sec. | 10–15 min. | 6.4 sec. |
Simple transaction performanc | High | Potentially high | High |
Complex transaction performance | High | Low | Very low |
Sharding support | Max. 260 shards per workchain | Max. to 26 shards | None |
Cross-shard communication | Near-instant | Slow time-to-finality | None |
